Hello
My name is Harriett Moore-Boyd
Thank you for dropping by and welcome to my small corner of Ireland.
I have always had an interest in handcrafted items, particularly
anything made with yarns, and learning to knit was one of the most
satisfying experiences of my childhood in the 1960’s.
However, for many years my life took a different path and only in
the last four years have I had the opportunity to return to my first
passion – handcrafted knitwear.
As I am a Kithog or a Clootie [lefthanded] I am almost totally self-taught.
I love to experiment and draw inspiration from the wonderful landscapes,
history and cultures of Ireland & Scotland, and this is reflected
in my business name – Pink Unicorns – a rare, mythical
and wonderful beastie; hopefully you will find something equally
rare and interesting in my website
